How to Display character count in texts on iPhone?

If you don't have the best texting plan and don't want to unnecessarily pay to send more texts than you need, here's a tip on how you can keep track of how many characters you’ve written in a text .

To turn on the character count in the Messages app,

Tap Settings >>Message option to keep an eye on your word count.

The phone’s texting interface will now count up to 160, letting you know if you’ve reached the character cap. Usually, your one text becomes two after 160 characters.

How to Enable emoji emoticons on the iPhone?

Ever notice how some of your friends have cute little emoticons in their emails or text messages. You know, like a little yellow face with hearts for eyes, teddy bears, Christmas trees, and so on?

By default, your iPhone doesn't give you access to these emotions and other graphics — but it is stored on your phone and ready when you are.

To enable emoticons on an iPhone,

- Tap Settings >> General >> International >> Keyboards.
- Then tap "Add New Keyboard" and select "Emoji."

You'll now see a globe icon to the right of the "123" icon on your keyboard. Tap it to access your emoji keyboard, and you'll be introduced to a vastly more efficient form of communication

How to Enable Parental Restrictions on your iPhone?

For young iPhone users, of which there are an increasingly large number, the digital world can seem unlimited. And to a certain degree, it is.

Whether it's on your iPhone or your child's iPod touch or iPad, you can block inappropriate content from your kids (such as music with explicit lyrics), prevent them from buying apps (or in-app purchases) and block YouTube, Safari, FaceTime and more.

To enable restrictions on your iPhone:

Go to Settings >> General >>> Restrictions.

You will see the list of option what the iPhone user can and cannot access. By tapping Enable Restrictions and setting a 4 digit passcode, parents can easily limit their child’s access.
