To turn on the character count in the Messages app,

Tap Settings >>Message option to keep an eye on your word count.

The phone’s texting interface will now count up to 160, letting you know if you’ve reached the character cap. Usually, your one text becomes two after 160 characters.

How to Select URL domains faster on your iPhone?


When typing a website address in Safari, you don't have to type the ".com." For example, you can type "yahoo" in the URL box to get to yahoo.com.

You can create text shortcuts to words and phrases you use a lot. For example, instead of typing "I Love You" you can use abbreviation "ilu" and iphone will automatically replace it with full word/phrases - "I Love You". How to Fix a frozen iPhone?

Is your iPhone screen frozen and it won't turn off? Then Don't Panic!!

If your iPhone freezes on you and pressing the Sleep/Wake button on top of the device doesn't do anything, then here's the tip to fix your frozen iPhone.

All you have to do is:

-  Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

You'll be prompted to swipe the "Slide to Power Off" tab. This so-called "hard reset" and it fixes the frozen 
iPhone. You'll first need to wait through a full shut down and restart.  Then your iPhone will be back to normal state again. Voila!

How to Take photos faster from lock screen on your iPhone?


One of the features in iOS 5 touted by Apple was the ability to quickly access the camera from the iPhone's lock screen. You would double-click the home button, a camera icon would appear next to the "slide to unlock" bar, and you would be taken straight to the camera.
